Welcoming 3 Leading Ladies to WeRobotics

WeRobotics continues to grow! We're very pleased to announce that 3 outstanding professionals (all women!) are joining the team. And we're excited to introduce them to you here for the first time: Ghati Marwa, Viviana Laperchia, and Wee Kheng Yuen. 

Ghati is a drone data and GIS expert based at Tanzania Flying Labs. She is a professional surveyor and GIS expert with a BSc. in Geomatics from ARDHI University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Before joining Tanzania Flying Labs, Ghati worked on numerous surveying and GIS projects in Tanzania. Ghati plays an important role in building the GIS capacity of Tanzania Flying Labs while providing GIS support to other Flying Labs in the region and across the globe. She recently ran a 5-day training for Tanzania Flying Labs which focused on developing a drone program for forest monitoring in Zanzibar. Just prior to this, she worked with Tanzania Flying Labs on a food security project in very rural areas of the country. 

Viviana joins us directly from the drone industry, where she worked as a Communication Manager at DJI, one of the leading drone companies in the world. There, she was responsible for policy communications, corporate social responsibility and storytelling to leverage the benefits of civilian drones for society at large. Prior to this role, she worked as a brand and communication consultant for Global Knowledge Canada and the European Union Toronto Film Festival. Viviana speaks five languages and is a certified advertising and communication professional with the Institute of Communication Agencies Canada. She'll lead our communications at WeRobotics and will help our Flying Labs share their impact.

Wee Kheng has over 25 years finance experience in various industries ranging from public accounting, shipping, charitable organizations, telecommunication and information technology. She previously served as Senior Finance Controller in the Global Governance & Compliance Team at Cisco Systems, where she worked for 14 years. Wee Kheng is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has expertise in internal performance reviews, managing meaningful KPI's, long range planning, budgeting and forecasting. Born and raised in Singapore, she has worked in California and is now based in Switzerland. She loves cooking for her family and friends.
