Thanks to the WeRobotics Global Roster of Experts

Stroke 1

Roster Map1

A few weeks ago we put out a call for assistance and many of you answered. We are genuinely humbled by the response and we want to say thank you.

WeRobotics is building a global community for safely, ethically and effectively solving critical problems throughout the global South with robotics technologies and information products. The Flying Labs are the centerpiece of that effort, engaging local communities in capacity building and collaboration around the problems of central importance to their areas. The roster of experts is another vital element of that strategy, which expands the network of knowledge, skills and human resources which can help communities to solve their problems with robotics and data analysis.

In just a few short weeks you have formed a global community of leaders, spanning every continent except Antarctica. You are now 136 members strong and growing daily, from 35 countries, speaking over a dozen languages, with skills ranging from engineering to drone operations to data science and GIS, to media and photography. You are many different nationalities, young and old, men and women. We are proud to include all of you in the WeRobotics community and we’re looking forward to our first real project collaborations over the coming months.

Please feel free to reach out to us any time with questions or ideas. You can also always engage with one another through the WeRobotics Google group. And thanks once again for joining the WeRobotics global roster of experts.
