The Most Unique Robotics for Good Event?

We are exactly one month away from WeRobotics Global. Hosted at the Rockefeller Foundation in New York on June 1st, WeR Global will bring together a remarkable cross-section of expertise and experience in aid, development, health, agriculture, conservation, journalism, logistics, robotics, data analytics and artificial intelligence. The purpose? To share the very latest operational efforts in the use of robotics to scale the positive impact of social good projects globally. Seasoned practitioners will share their latest insights and lessons learned with each other and with our Flying Labs Coordinators from Asia, Africa and Latin America. WeR Global will play a pivotal role in shaping future projects and partnerships at our Flying Labs.

The first panel will feature presentations from our Flying Labs Coordinators covering the range of projects and trainings that they’ve spearheaded over the past 12 months. They will share their lessons learned and best practices and present the latest projects they have in the pipeline. The next panel will highlight applications of robotics across multiple sectors including humanitarian aid, agriculture, nature conservation and journalism. The third panel will look at the role of robotics in logistics and transportation, featuring leading logistics modeling experts and public health practitioners who work at the forefront of these efforts. The fourth and final panel will take us beyond aerial robotics and include presentations on how marine, terrestrial and even space robotics are scaling social good efforts. WeR Global is being kept relatively small in terms of participants (under 50) to maximize learning and interaction. Furthermore, each panel will have a dedicated full hour of open discussion and exchange following the presentations. Plenty of breaks in between panel presentations will ensure that conversations can continue as needed.
