WeRobotics Global 2017

We’re excited to announce WeRobotics Global. Hosted by the Rockefeller Foundation on June 1st 2017, this unique and invite-only event will bring some of the leading experts in applied robotics together with a select number of leading practitioners in humanitarian aid, global development, environmental protection, resilience building and public health.

Organizations represented at WeRobotics Global will include the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), World Food Program (WFP), World Bank, FAO/IAEA Insect Pest Control Lab (IPLC), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Medair, University of Pennsylvania’s General Robotics Lab (GRASP), Amazon, Facebook, Uber and Starship Technologies amongst others.

The purpose of this applied and policy-focused event is to highlight some of the most promising projects in the robotics for social good space along with the main lessons learned, continuing challenges and future trends. The experts meeting will include panels with leading humanitarian, development, environmental and public health professionals along with key input from leading robotics experts and companies that specialize in aerial robotics (drones), marine robotics and ground robotics.
