Hello Dubai! Hello World!

We’re so honored and thrilled to be in Dubai this week to Keynote and judge the 2016 International Drones for Good / Robotics for Good Awards! This is truly the perfect venue to launch our exciting new initiative, WeRobotics. The Awards represent a global festival, a worldwide celebration of technologies of for social good. We’re very grateful to the event’s outstanding organizing team for kindly inviting us to use this unique, international forum to present WeRobotics to Dubai and the World.

WeRobotics is building a global network of robotics for social good. We’re doing this by connecting all of us here in Dubai as well as previous and future contestants to our Flying Labs around the world. These unique Labs will allow us to collectively and sustainably scale our positive social impact. How? The Labs are where we directly transfer both relevant skills and appropriate robotics technologies to our local partners based on their needs and social good priorities. We do this by providing professional, hands-on training onsite with our growing network of technology partners--which include contestants from last year’s Awards!

In so doing, we seek to create a highly skilled local workforce in dozens of developing countries around the world; a workforce that is ready to meet the growing demand for robotics-as-service across multiple sectors. To this end, WeRobotics also works with members of our Labs to incubate new businesses that cater to this growing market.
